Experts Say “'Forever Diamond’ fills Cincinnati’s Cultural Void”
Cincinnati, OH-“I never thought it would happen, but finally a Neil Diamond tribute band has come to the Greater Cincinnati Area!”
These were the words spoken by a relieved Cincinnati tributebandacologist upon hearing of the debut of local Neil Diamond tribute sextet “Forever Diamond” upon the Cincinnati music scene. “For years,” he continued, “I’ve been keeping my Neil Diamond fandom a carefully guarded secret, but finally I can publicly enjoy the likes of ‘Sweet Caroline’, ‘I’m a Believer’, ‘Red, Red Wine’, ‘Forever in Blue Jeans’, and many, many others in the clubs, bars, party halls, and casinos around Cincinnati! A cultural void is filled! My God, this is a wonderful time to be alive!”
Such optimism, it seems, is not unfounded. “Forever Diamond” Cincinnati’s premier Neil Diamond tribute band has exploded onto local stages, led by uncannily Neil-like singer John “Diamond” Hartz, delighting audiences across the city with the legendary singer/songwriter’s best-known hits. “My parents used to play this,” remarked one young concert goer, adding quickly “I can’t believe I know this song. . .in fact, I can’t believe I LOVE this song. Are you sure this is Neil?”
Hartz and company are. They’ve already enjoyed sell-out crowds at various venues throughout the city, and are looking forward to continued success driven by Diamond’s crowd-pleasing favorites.
